Where should I get started?

Where should you start in Wired Relations mapped up against what your goal is.

Wired Relations can solve multiple challenges and serve multiple purposes.

Naturally we hope that you would be willing to to use all the functions of Wired Relations. But we're also aware that you may be here for a specific reason.

I'm here to manage my Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)

Processing Activities
Is the meat and bones of your RoPA. In Processing activities you'll be taken through a step-by-step questionnaire that makes sure you document everything necessary for your RoPA.

Systems
In systems you're able to document what personal data is processed in what system. And you're able to connect your systems to your processing activities.

Vendors
In relation to your RoPA, the vendors area is where you register your data processors, potential third country transfers and the legal basis for these.

I'm here to work with ISAE 3000, SOC 2, ISO 27001/2 & 27701 or similar standard

Governance
Governance is the place where you keep an overview of your implementation of the standard and related documentation.

Tasks
Tasks is how you build out your annual cycle of controls, reviews, and todo's.

Systems & Vendors
In systems and vendors you are able to document which systems and vendors you use. As well as manage tasks that your organisation should complete on a regular schedule in relation to that system or vendor.

I want to manage my vendors, data processors, and my audits of these

Vendors
The vendors area is where you're able to track and manage your vendors (among them all of your data processors).

From here you will map all of your data processing agreements, third country transfers, and auditing of vendors.

Tasks
With tasks you will build out your annual cycle of checking your data processing agreements, auditing your vendors, and any other related activities

The task module will then automatically be documentation of your recurring compliance activities.

TIA (Not included starter plan, contact support for trial access)
Do you transfer personal information to third countries? Then you need to make transfer impact assessments (TIA) for each transfer.

I want to de-centralize Privacy and Information Security (collaboration)

Tasks
The task manager is your lifeblood when you want to decentralize your work, and collaborate more across your organisation.

Responsibility of systems, vendors, processing activities etc.
Wired Relations is built so that you're always prompted to assign responsibility. This is an important part of collaborating in your organisation.

If you're not ready to invite users into Wired Relations yet, then you can assign them no-access.

I want to document my Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA's)

TIA (Not included starter plan, contact support for trial access)
The TIA module is built as a questionnaire that takes you through every question you need to answer to create a complete Transfer Impact Assessment.

Vendors
With the vendors you will map your third country transfers, so you know which TIA's to complete first.

I want to document my Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA's)

DPIA (Not included starter plan, contact support for trial access)
The DPIA module is built as a questionnaire that takes you through every question you need to answer to create a complete Data Protection Impact Assessment.

I'm here as a data processor, and want to manage my obligations

Customers
With the Customers module you can map out those of your customers with which you have data processing agreements (and you're the data processor).

From here you can also keep track of any exceptional conditions beyond the terms in your standard data processing agreement.

Governance
In Governance you can manage and document compliance with standards and legislations such as SOC 2, NIS2, ISO 27001/2, ISAE 3000, and many more.
